To celebrate World Nature Conservation Day, First Capital Bank, in association with the Repensar Environmental Education Cooperative, organised a social responsibility action to clean beaches in Maputo and Beira.

In a stretch of approximately 2 kilometres in each town, volunteers from First Capital Bank Mozambique and the Repensar Environmental Education Cooperative collected many bags of rubbish (50kg/each), including glass bottles (beer, wine and others), soft drink cans, styrofoam, PET bottles, caps, various clothes and shoes, among other common rubbish.

Through this and other actions we are committed to preserving the environment and we invite everyone to do their bit to protect our beaches and the nature around us.
