Learn MoreAs part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility activities, First Capital Bank, in partnership with the MAKOBO Platform, supported the training of young women in areas with immediate income-generating potential:
Five trainees completed a pastry course, in partnership with the Assma Maputo Culinary School, gaining tools to start small businesses or join the job market.
Another three young women were trained in fashion design, cutting, and sewing, in partnership with BERNINA MOZ, promoting entrepreneurship and the appreciation of local talent.
But it didn’t stop there. The bank knows that financial autonomy begins with knowledge, which is why female staff members visited the trainees to share financial education insights – from how to manage their first earnings to the importance of saving and planning for the future.
More than technical training, this initiative represents an investment in economic independence, inclusion, and dignity. When we support individual growth, we are also strengthening communities.
We are committed to a model of banking that goes beyond numbers – banking with impact.
