Graduated in Business Management, from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, he also has a post-graduate degree in Finance, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He has over 17 years of professional experience in the financial sector. He started his career at Deloitte, where he spent about 4 years on Audit and Consulting projects in the areas of Banking and Insurance, followed by several professional projects in Banking in Portugal, Angola and South Africa. He was at Banco BIC (Angola) for 10 years, where he performed several management functions in the areas of Corporate, Capital Markets, Finance and International Area.

He joined First Capital Bank in October 2019 for the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
