Maputo,\u00a014 November\u00a02025<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>First Capital Bank<\/span><\/b>\u00a0is proud to announce that it will be the\u00a0<\/span>Main Sponsor<\/span><\/b>\u00a0of the 2<\/span>nd<\/span>\u00a0Edition of\u00a0<\/span>Beach Polo Mozambique<\/span><\/b>, a prestigious sporting event that brings together elegance,\u00a0competition\u00a0and entertainment. The 2025 edition will take place on 22 November at South Beach, Maputo, and is supported institutionally by the Maputo City Council, INATUR, and held in partnership with the Embassy of Argentina. The event aims to promote equestrian sport, enhance Mozambican tourism and position the country on the international beach polo circuit, bringing together prominent figures from the business and social spheres.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday, 13 November 2025, a press conference was held in Maputo, attended by\u00a0<\/span>Miguel Proen\u00e7a<\/span><\/b>, General Manager of Playground, the company organizing Beach Polo Mozambique;\u00a0<\/span>Ana Russo<\/span><\/b>, Head of Marketing and Communication at First Capital Bank;\u00a0<\/span>Osvaldo Faquir<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0Councilor\u00a0for Education, Culture and Sport of the Maputo City Council;\u00a0<\/span>Nuelia\u00a0Bernales<\/span><\/b>, representative of the Embassy of Argentina; and\u00a0<\/span>Sebasti\u00e3o\u00a0Coana<\/span><\/b>, visual artist. Opening the conference, Miguel Proen\u00e7a highlighted that Beach Polo Mozambique combines sport, glamour and tourism, creating employment opportunities and contributing to local development in areas such as\u00a0logistics, hospitality,\u00a0catering\u00a0and security.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Ana Russo, supporting Beach Polo Mozambique is not just a sponsorship, but the continuation of a brand positioning strategy that, since 2019, has associated the Bank with initiatives of national and international relevance, thereby promoting premium experiences and strengthening relationships with clients and partners. \u201c<\/span>We are delighted to bring this modality, still little known, to the city of Maputo, opening the door for polo to be practised in Mozambique as well<\/span><\/i>,\u201d she\u00a0stated.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
